neurosparkly nonetheless

About me

Let me tell you about myself.

I’m Jacqueline. I’m neurosparkly and have Functional Neurological Disorder from a nasty bump on the head, the latter affects my physical and mental well-being, bur I don't often let it get me down.

I have many hobbies. I love immersing myself in films, books, and music of many genres. I collect uranium glass, jokers from decks of cards, and Tarot decks. I also love to create in many different ways. I am quirky and love the eccentric, I have very eclectic tastes, and the strangest things can spark inspiration in me. I love being creative and can turn my hand to most crafts, I also enjoy diamond art, colouring, and journaling for mindfulness. I also enjoy making and swapping artist trading cards (ATCs), and writing to my penpals.

I love photography and I’m blessed to live in an area that provides me with a myriad of people, places, and so much more to capture. I’m also blessed with a partner who loves to explore as much as I do so we regularly visit new places, she’s also a keen amateur photographer.

I enjoy writing poetry and prose, I have been doing it since school, and am still doing it now. Another favourite pastime of mine is cooking, I have been told I’m good and haven’t poisoned anyone yet.

I’m a bit geeky too, I love role playing games and Pokémon; I also have a rather silly addiction to playing The Sims.

I volunteer for a charity, FND Dimensions, which also keeps me busy and gives me a real sense of fulfilment with knowing that I’m helping people.

On top of all this, I’m learning to speak Esperanto.
